NEWFA Partners with Macron as Official Supplier

 

The North East Wales Football Association are pleased to announce a three‑year partnership with Macron Sports Hub Wrexham, securing the Italian sportswear and equipment provider as an official partner of the North East Wales Football League.

 

As part of the agreement, Macron will provide the official match balls for the NEWFA First, Second and Third Divisions for the upcoming season. Clubs and match officials will also benefit from having local access to Macron’s Wrexham store, which will serve as a key support and supply hub throughout the partnership.

 

NEWFA Chairman Dave Fawkes welcomed the partnership, stating:

“Their proven track record in Welsh domestic football and local presence makes them the ideal partner as we look to support our clubs across the next 12 months and beyond.

This collaboration strengthens Macron’s long-standing reputation within Welsh football. In 2020, Macron became the official domestic match-ball supplier for the Football Association of Wales, a deal that covered the JD Cymru Premier, North and South, the Women’s top flight, and the Ardal Leagues, supporting 117 clubs across the country. 

 

Macron also provides kits and equipment to numerous other clubs and referees, working across North East Wales, supplying kits, training wear, and equipment to teams at all levels of the game. 

 

With a store and support hub based in Wrexham, Macron offers logistical convenience and a familiar point of contact for local clubs. The company’s continued investment in Welsh football aligns with NEWFA’s own ambition to raise standards and support club development across the region.
