Are you over the age of 16 and interested in becoming a fully qualified Referee?

The North East Wales Football Association (NEWFA) are currently offering a reimbursement on the two courses available to become a Referee

The £25 course - which is just the online course itself - will be fully reimbursed after qualifying to become a referee and fulfilling 5 senior matches


The £70 course- which includes the online course, a one -to- one practical session and full matchday matchday pack (which includes referee necessities i.e. whistles, flags, cards and notebook) will be reimbursed half the fee (£35) after completing 8 senior matches and the other half after completing 8 senior matches

NEWFA DIRECTORY

We have a number of council members who deal with many issues within our area at various levels.  Should you need to speak with any individuals, you can find the information here.

LEAGUE AND CLUB DIRECTORY

We have a number of leagues and clubs operating within our area.  As an Area Association we deal mainly with secretaries from leagues and clubs.  Should you wish to gain managers information then you would need to refer back to specific league websites

 

REFEREES

We are constantly looking to increase our number of match officials and as football continues to grow in the area, more games require more officials.  Here are the registered NEWFA referees, and of course keep your eyes out for upcoming courses.

 

NORTH EAST WALES FA

The North East Wales FA was started in 1968 and is the youngest of the area associations in Wales.  At that time the Football Association of Wales was based at Fairy Road in Wrexham and comprised of a Secretary, 4 clarks and and administration assistant.  How times have changed ....  To continue with the History of the North East Wales Football Association, please click the button below.
