LAWS OF THE GAME COURSE - MEN
The latest Laws of the Game Course for budding Referee's started on THURSDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2010, at Brymbo Sports Complex, it will run on each THURSDAY night for 9 weeks (2 hour sessions).

REFEREE'S SEMINAR
The Annual Referee's mid-season Seminar and hot-pot meal was held on  SUNDAY 24th JANUARY 2010 , at Brymbo Sports Complex, where the guest  speaker was Airbus UK Broughton FC's Manager, Craig Harrison  - This was very well attended by almost 60 Referee's and was a most informative session. During the seminar the Girl's who recently passed their Laws of the Game Course were presented with their FAW Certificates (see photo on our NEWS page).

TRAINING AFTERNOON and NEWFA  ANNUAL FITNESS TEST
A Referee's training afternoon was be held on  SUNDAY 31st JANUARY 2010 at 2.00pm, at Brymbo Sports Complex

The NEWFA Annual Fitness Tests took place over 4 sessions on Sundays 7th & 14th February and Wednesdays 10th & 17th February at Queensway.

These were very well attended - thanks to all the Referee's who took part.

The happy and successful canditates who recently passed the NEWFA Laws of the Game course held exclusively for Girls/Ladies at Brymbo Sports Complex. With this season's  introduction of a Welsh Premier Ladies League, it was great to see so many on the course and they all passed with flying colours...... Well Done Girls!!

The Association is pleased to announce that the new Referee's Officer is Mr. Brian Bevan, who takes over from Gerald Davies who has taken up his new role with FA of Wales as Regional Development Officer for Referee's in North East Wales. We wish Brian and Gerald all the best in their new positions.
